If you are looking for a convenient place to bird watch during your stay in Sault Ste. Marie, The Lynn Trail System is a great option. This area hosts numerous bird species. Nineteen species of warblers have been documented using the trail during migration.
The woods ring with the calls of veery and gray-cheeked, Swainsons and hermit thrushes. Blue-headed, Philadelphia and red-eyed vireos can be found using the woods around the trails. Olive-sided, least, and great-crested flycatchers are frequent visitors. It is also a great place to look for woodpeckers.

The Lynn Trail System is located at the Sault Seal Recreation Area, which is Sault Ste. Marie's outdoor winter recreation facility equipped with tubing runs and a ski/snowboard hill with a heated chalet that offers bathrooms and a concession vendor.
